| Naewoe Economy TV = Reporter Ban Jae-dong | An online ad campaign launched by Yeongju City to promote “Yeongju Market Day,” its official online shopping mall for agricultural and specialty products, recorded over 22.1 million impressions over approximately three months. The number of direct visits to the “Yeongju Market Day” page via the ad exceeded 1.18 million.

According to the Yeongju City Agricultural Technology Center, the online promotional campaign for Yeongju Market Day, which began on June 15, had recorded a total of 22,107,767 ad impressions and 1,494,205 clicks as of the 6th. The number of visitors who were directed directly to the “Yeongju Market Day” page was 1,180,681.

For promotion, the campaign utilized OK Cashback, Happy Point lock screens, Meta, YouTube, and other platforms. Ads were managed separately by channel: some directed users directly to the Yeongju Market Day shopping mall, while others featured videos showcasing local agricultural specialties.

By media channel, OK Cashback generated 14,565,642 ad impressions and 1,301,451 clicks. Of these, direct visits to the Yeongju Market Day page totaled 1,146,378.

On Meta, the content recorded 1,918,569 impressions and 41,668 clicks, with 918,752 video views. On YouTube, there were 4,114,197 impressions, 114,757 clicks, and 667,605 video views. The combined video views across both channels totaled 1,586,357.

Happy Point lock screen ads were displayed 1,509,359 times, resulting in 34,303 direct visits to the Yeongju Market Day page.

Yeongju City has expanded its online promotional campaign this year, which last year focused on driving direct traffic to the “Yeongju Market Day” page. In addition to traffic-driving ads through platforms such as OK Cashback, the city has added video ads on Meta and YouTube.

The digital marketing firm EMCG was responsible for planning the online promotional campaign and managing the media channels. EMCG categorized OK Cashback and Happy Point as direct traffic channels for the Yeongju Market Day event, and Meta and YouTube as channels for video content exposure and views.

An official from Yeongju City stated, “The significance of this online promotional campaign goes beyond simply displaying a large number of ads; it aims to encourage consumers to visit the Yeongju Farmers’ Market in person and naturally encounter Yeongju’s agricultural and specialty products through various digital channels,” and “We will continue to expand our consumer outreach to raise awareness of Yeongju’s high-quality agricultural and specialty products, and strive to ensure this leads to tangible growth in online sales and increased income for farming households,” the official added.
